If you have arrived at WANSARC website before checking out the information available on the Wireless Institute of Australia website found at www.wia.org.au Go to [ Licenses ] and go to the level that you wish to get information for. There are three levels of license, the foundation license, the standard license and the advanced license. Take a look (better yet, download), the syllabus for the type of qualification you wish to obtain. WANSARC welcomes all classes of amateurs and all levels of skills in our club. As WANSARC does not currently have club rooms, we do not conduct classes. If your in our general area of Melbourne you are best advised to check the Wireless Institute of Australia website for clubs running classes near our area, we usually suggest the North East Radio Group (NERG) Greensborough www.nerg.asn.au or Amateur Radio Victoria Ashburton http://www.amateurradio.com.au/ If you are going for the foundation license then you must definitely get a copy of the Foundation license manual which can be obtained from either the Wireless Institute of Australia or Amateur Radio Victoria - just check on their respective websites.
