Weekly Club Radio Net - 146.45 MHz FM
Tuesday Evenings - 7:30pm to 8:30pm AEST
The VK3AWS club net is an informal meeting place for club and non-club members to gather and "have a chat" on-the-air.
Control of the Net is handled by the operator of the VK3AWS call sign.
Net control originates on the club frequency 146.450 MHz
All amateurs are logged and each are called "down the list" for their turn. Opportunities exist for new stations to log on during the net.
Possible Future Changes To The Weekly Club Net
As our members and listeners may be aware, in recent months Don VK3HDX and WANSARC conducted some very successful simultaneous experimental retranmissions of the 146.450 Mhz Club Net on 28.470 MHz and 3.647 MHz.
However as Don is now living interstate and is no longer able to do the re-transmissions, we will continue with the Club Net on the usual 2M frequency until a discussion is held at a future club meeting about some possible further expansion or otherwise for our 'Net' frequency coverage.
